Dusty Springfield Remix

I'm planning another music project. It's a remix of the song "Wishin and Hopin'" from her second studio album, "A Girl Called Dusty", but plan the plan is to, at minimum, steal the chorus. Probably I will be stealing parts of the verse. I will not be stealing the bridge, it is awful. In general, the parts I'm not stealing are oddly-terrible melodies. To summarize, these are essentially the lyrics (in chronological order) I'm not stealing:

So if you're lookin' to find love you can share

Show him that you care just for him
Do the things he likes to do
Wear your hair just for him, 'cause

So if you're thinkin' how great true love is

Show him that you care just for him
Do the things he likes to do
Wear your hair just for him, '

The odd thing is it seems they occur in

That's all I've got so far, any suggestions on what to mix it with?

I also wanted to point out a recent discovery: Jack White stole from Dusty as well (sort of). Certainly, he heard her version first. She popularized it, but it was originally released in 1962. Song is: I Just Don't Know What to Do with Myself. Read the wikipedia here.

On Elephant, the 4th track, it's the same song with lots of distorted guitars and blues rifs.

BTW, Jack White live is a 7, I just saw him at the Anthem in DC. I was expecting a 10, so naturally, I was disappointed. I wanted to hear more of the older stuff. I was also annoyed with the fans who cheered too much for Seven Nation Army. It's a good song, but come on, not blow-your-load-omg-that-was-amazing good.
